The Coatesville Area Senior Center is dedicated to providing a welcoming place where people 60+ years of age can socialize and enhance their ability to live  fulfilling healthy lives.

Areas served: Coatesville, Valley, Wagontown, Modena, Atglen, Parkesburg, Thorndale, Glenmoore, Honey Brook, Elverson, East Fallowfield, West Caln, Sadsburyville & West Brandywine.

Strategic Plan — A dedicated committee of staff, board, and center members put together a Strategic Plan and set goals for the Coatesville Area Senior Center for the next three years.

The Board of Directors' has begun implementing the goals of our strategic plan. They've met with the membership and will be putting into practice some of the suggestions. Please continue to watch our website for more updated information.

CASC is looking for

  Programs:
  • Daily exercise programs Monday through Friday
  • Health and safety seminars
  • Art classes
  • Computer classes
  • Craft classes
  • Bingo and board games
  • Billiard tables
  • Monthly birthday parties
    with live entertainment
  • History, travel and
    entertaining films
  • Resources for rent and property rebates
  • Assistance with
    transportation needs
  • Housing and health referrals
  • Noon meal served daily
  • Meditation class
  • Weekly blood pressure checks
  • Weekly pinochle games
  • Memory games
  • Scrabble Club
  • Book Club

Most programs are free of charge.

 

 

  • an individual to work with the seniors one or two mornings a week
  • an event planner to assist with upcoming fundraising events
  • an assistant to work with program director on program development
  • someone to teach seniors the internet

All of this helps to support our healthy living programs, and
the breakfast program is now open on Saturday mornings 8AM - 10AM too.
  

Used Book Store

The Coatesville Area Senior Center's Used Book Store is open Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm. Donations of gently used books would be appreciated!
